Torrens to Torrens Project
Gunia Plant Hire has been contracted for supplying earthmoving equipment and machinery for the Torrens to Torrens Project. This project aims to construct a 4 km, non-stop, roadway, connecting Torrens Road to River Torrens. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018 and is estimated to come at a cost of a little under $805 million.
Key features of this 4km roadway will include:
- 3 km, lowered, the roadway connecting Pym Street, Gawler Avenue, Croydon Park and Hindmarsh (West).
- Surface roads constructed parallel, connecting these suburbs to South Road.
- Significant savings in commute time for locals as well as freight carriers.

Darlington Upgrade Project
The Darlington Upgrade Project includes construction of 8 bridges aimed at easing the flow of traffic between:
- Ayliffes
- South & Shepherds Hill Road
- Main South Road & Ayliffes Road
These bridges will improve the connectivity between these suburbs and are expected to be completed by 2019. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $620 million.
